We stand at the cusp of a Great Shift. We feel it internally and we see it externally.
There are thousands and thousands of commentaries about it. Everyone has their own idea of what is happening, and what is going to happen. Some of it takes us to Love and some takes us to Fear. It all depends on our own Value System, and how much we have dropped into our hearts.

Remember, there has always been fear. The ego thrives on fear. So in one sense there is nothing new. It is only that now the scale of the fear, and the collective energy of it, is impacting us at our very core.

And that means it is time to step into our greatness. We are, at our heart, Warriors of Light. It is this Warrior quality that is being called into being. Not the fighting Warrior instinct of old, but the Open Hearted Warrior of Love and Truth. This is the Warrior of Being, committed to Oneness and Liberation of Humanity. He/She sees the end of suffering, the end of separation, the end of Tyranny and Oppression and the Dawn of Community, Co-operation and Compassion. We are right there, and now is the time to be resolute.

Everything we have individually and collectively worked for is held in these next moments. It is the time to let go of the doubt, let go of the fear, let go of the judgement, let go of the anger and blame. It is time to focus on the eternally healing frequency of the heart. Together we can resonate at our Heart frequency and our Reality will change. No matter what we are presented with, we must be like Buddha as he sat dealing with the illusions of the World. We must see it all as Love, and open our hearts wider and wider.

This is our job. We have chosen this time and this place to incarnate. I believe this. That those of us who are Awakening at this time are the emerging Bodhisattva’s of Light. We are here to Herald the Birth of the New Age. And we have a responsibility to clear our own stuff and help others and each other through the doorway.

And if the ego is terrified, let it be terrified. If it screams ‘NO!’ let it scream, and just carry on anyway. The voice screams until it stops. It has no more power than that. The power you give it, no more no less.

So let us rise up as the Keeper’s of the Doorway and Shine our Light!
This is the time we have been waiting for, and the part YOU play is equal to the part anyone plays, even those who appear most important!
There are no leaders, there are only participants.

We are as cells in the global body. We have been diseased and sick. When a body is sick with disease it needs to be nursed and loved back to wellness. This comes about, we now know, on all levels of health, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. So it is with us. And individually we are cells in the Collective Body we call Humanity. In truth we are One Body. So if one of us is sick, physically , mentally, emotionally or spiritually then we do not punish them, but rather they become healed because of the ‘process’ of healthy influence by others. When one is sick, then we are all sick. Each of us must take Full and Total responsibility for our Total Wellness in all bodies. Then we resonate at the Love Frequency and thereby we become Catalysts for Change.

I have never been so excited as I am Now. I feel built for this time.

Everyday Enlightenment

Today, as I write this, I remember that it is my “rebirth” day. This was the day I dropped my given name and received a new “spiritual” name. Along with that I also dropped some layers of my old identity and embarked on a search for what was true.

The search for what is true is the “spiritual search”: the quest for awakening or enlightenment. Today, there seems to be so much talk about “awakening”. Never before – at least in the known history of humankind - has there been so much interest in spiritual matters. What was once reserved for mystics has become commonplace. And what once required years of seclusion in a cave at the top of the Himalayas has not become available to us in the everyday context. To many of us interested in the path of awakening, “enlightenment” is no longer a mysterious word. But it is still an apparently mysterious process!

I think it’s important to bust some myths around this. Like many other people on the path, I used to think that this was something that happened when you became “spiritual enough” or when you had “meditated enough”. But I’ve discovered that it really isn’t about what you do, about how many spiritual practices you perform, or how many spiritual teachers you’ve been around. Nor is it some cosmic state in which you exhibit super-natural powers. And neither is it an endless bubble of bliss!

Awakening is about recognizing that your true nature is already enlightened. It’s about shifting your attention from who you think you are to who you really are. It’s what happens when you have the willingness to step out of the tyranny of your thinking mind and into the abyss of being. This willingness arises when you’ve truly had enough of suffering, when the background of unhappiness is no longer an option and you desire liberation above and beyond all else. This burning desire for liberation is the spark that ignites the flame. Although once it has been lit, you cannot control when and how it will happen … or even whether it will happen. That is an act of grace.

What’s important in all this, is that the spiritual search itself is a block to awakening. Looking for something outside of yourself puts the thing you are looking for into the future. And the truth of who you are can only be found right here in the present. Your true nature is revealed when you drop the search and take a vertical leap from your head to your heart. This vertical direction is exactly the opposite of what the conditioned mind does. The mind runs forwards and backwards from past to future in a horizontal direction. Awakening requires that we turn around and turn within. It’s a challenging requirement amidst the demands of everyday life.

But the call for awakening today is exactly this … to bring enlightenment right into our everyday lives. It means staying present with all the difficult and painful situations that we may find ourselves in. Not turning away, but turning towards each situation in gentle openness. This is the ability to be here now … whatever our circumstances. The more deeply we can rest in the presence of being, the more we awaken to the truth of who we are beyond all story-lines of “this shouldn't be happening” or “I’ve done something wrong”.

What happens as we exercise this muscle of awareness that keeps us rooted in the now instead of running away scared, is that the ego shifts its focus of attention. One of the myths on the spiritual path is that the ego has to die. But I think it is more like the ego has to transmute. In other words, it becomes an “aware ego”. An aware ego is no longer obsessed with a primitive self-survival instinct, rather it has the capacity to become a witness to what is happening. When the aware ego comes together with the awakened self – the part of you that has recognized it’s eternal and unchanging nature – then there is the capacity for conscious choice. This is the choice to respond to life rather than to react to life. Another way of saying this is, we now have the ability to take awakened action.

In today’s world, doing and being need not be in opposition to each other. It does not serve us or the world to turn our backs on life and simply gaze our navels. What is relevant today is for right doing to arise out of right being. This is a new kind of “integrated enlightenment” in which our actions are congruent with our awakened awareness. So often on the spiritual path, I’ve come across people who claim to be awakened – and indeed they have recognized that part of themselves – but they are still playing out old habitual patterns that do not contribute to the awakening of the world. I’m not saying that we should be “perfect”. Perfection of our personalities does not necessarily go hand in hand with awakening.

The personal development arena is full of people who have worked on themselves so that they are positive, happy, living their purpose and manifesting their dreams. But this does not necessarily mean that they inhabit the wide-open spaciousness of their unchanging consciousness. They have not awakened to their deepest nature. But the converse – of being awakened and not having done some work on how to integrate that awakening into the vehicle of the personality – is also not the whole story.

Integrated enlightenment means we bring our awakening into the everyday arena so that we become conscious of what we think, feel, say and do. And we make choices that serve not only our own fulfilment but also the fulfilment of those people whose lives we touch. This is a shift from being motivated by self-serving gain and immediate gratification to being motivated by the desire to be of service to the bigger picture. This shift is one that I believe can fast-forward our personal and collective evolution. It’s a shift that our modern times is calling for … we can resist it and fight the flow of life or we can do it willingly and relax into divine plan.

A Prayer for Challenging Times

In the early 90's I received a series of visions in which I saw the future of humanity.

In the first vision, I experienced a "splitting of the worlds" in which one reality was of extreme suffering and destruction as the collective lies and false beliefs surfaced and imploded into global catastrophe. The second reality was one of incredible beauty, grace and love in which a planetary awakening rippled through those able to inhabit this frequency. I did not see the details of these two opposing realities but I felt their vibration and I knew it was a personal choice we each had to face. Both of these realities or "worlds" existed side by side.

In the second vision, I experienced "the choice and the transformation" in which I understood what each of us had to do on an internal level to choose which reality we would inhabit. I became a witness to the unfoldment of the splitting of the worlds and felt the fabric of reality tremble. My state of being caused the world to shift in one direction or the other. Any fraction of fear unveiled a world of horror and terrible disaster. On the other hand, my ability to be rooted in unobstructed awareness and an open heart without agenda cut through this nightmare to reveal a new reality of indescribable peace, freshness and shimmering beauty. As I wavered, so did the universe respond. The choice was mine. From this point on, I understood the challenges we each have to face as our ego story-lines cloud our vision and blind us to the task at hand.

The third vision - which arrived in 2002 - was the culmination in which I received the 2 Golden Keys that would assist us on the journey of walking through the darkness over the coming years. These 2 Keys have formed the foundation of my teaching and I have been propelled and compelled to share them with the world. At times this is a joy to share .. and there are times when I am extremely challenged myself to hold resolute to these keys. One of these challenging times has come again .. and I can only pray that I remain a beacon of light amidst these changing times.

I pray that the light within me burns bright ... even if it is just a flicker at times. I pray for the strength of surrender. I pray to have the courage to put one step down after another and keep going. I pray that what is burnt away during this journey is what I needed to let go of anyway. I pray for love to always inform me even when I go astray. My prayer is for all sentient beings to remember the light within and to hold this remembrance not just for themselves but for the greater awakening that is an inevitable part of the evolutionary story.

God is all there is .. I pray to remember this always.

The Power of the Divine Feminine

I cannot help but get excited about the new vibration emerging from deep within ourselves. It carries the fragrance of awakening to a new dawn with fresh possibilities and unknown vistas to explore. It’s the vibration of the new Divine Feminine and I believe it is the way of the future.

For too long we have lived as a species in the grip of a patriarchal dominator model. One in which ego has ruled over compassion and “profit at all cost” has ruled over “for the benefit of all concerned.”The masculine energy of forward-thrusting progress and creating “bigger and better” things has led to an insane world of over-consumption, the rape of the planet and a huge imbalance between “have’s and have not’s.”

Now there’s nothing wrong with a bit of masculine power … it is a vital part of life! But it’s been running rampant and has dominated the sky-line. Nature, however, is forever wise and the pendulum today is swinging in the other direction to bring in the feminine.

The rise of the new feminine power is not another feminist statement. Whilst the feminist movement of the 70’s was a necessary stage in women’s emancipation, it emulated masculine power rather than being an expression of authentic feminine energy. The new feminine comes from much deeper within the womb of creation. It’s the birth of a planetary consciousness that is coming through us as individuals, whether we are male or female. Except that women are more likely to feel it first as they are biologically wired in to receive this energy. And so do men who have truly made the leap from head to heart.

The new Divine Feminine frequency is calling forth from within us the fortitude and tenacity to take care of the greater whole. In other words, just like a mother, we are being called to take care of our children, all the children of the world, and all the children of the future.

We are being called to take care of all life, all sentient creatures, the ecosystem and the planet. We are being called to be caretakers for humanity and for the sanctity of our hearts.

The Divine Feminine sees the sacred in everything and is committed to preserving that sacredness by acknowledging that everything that exists is an expression of the divine. This is the frequency of oneness that sees no separation between spiritual and material. And just like a mother, the Divine Feminine will do what it takes to protect and maintain the frequency of oneness. There is a ferocity to the love that is born out of passion for life. And there is also a tenderness to the love that is aware of the fragility of what is newly emergent.

We can see this Divine Feminine frequency expressed through the emerging spirituality that is both transcendent and down-to-earth, in the global movement towards awakening, in the growing attention being given to ecological concerns, and in the increasing awareness of the need to rebalance the world of rich and poor.

We can also see it expressed through the new co-creative partnerships being created in some sectors of business, commerce, science. A wonderful example of this is the revolutionary micro-credit banking structure that has been seeded in many under-developed countries and changing the lives of millions. These are win-win situations that do not divide and conquer but lead to growth and nourishment for everyone involved.

We can also see the Divine Feminine in the rise of women stepping up to be leaders in all kinds of fields. It’s a new kind of leadership though. One that embodies a woman’s natural desire for wholeness and harmony, that merges head and heart, and that takes a long-term view over immediate reward. Increasingly women are becoming the voice of the future.

The Dalai Lama said at the Peace Summit in 2009 that “the world will be saved by the Western woman”. I believe what he meant by this statement is that the Western woman has been freed from the old patriarchal family and societal structure that once enslaved her to hearth and home. She is no longer suppressed or denigrated as a second class citizen nor as a commodity owned by her husband.

She is free to be herself and to draw on her internal power and compassion to help make the world a better place. She is even free to consciously choose whether to raise a family or not. This choice adds another dimension to her life in which she can extend her love to a larger community.

The power of a woman to give birth to new life is one that serves the world because a conscious woman can give birth to a new consciousness through what she offers the world. This can be creating happy, conscious children or creating works of art that uplift others. It can be creating a conscious business that adds value to other people’s lives or being a voice for change in the world of politics. It can be being a healer, a guide or a spiritual teacher. Or it can simply be being a listening ear when times are tough.

The more a woman embodies her authentic truth, the more she participates in the birth of a new world.

The Divine Feminine is a force for personal and planetary awakening that is available to us today. We would be wise to take a few moments each day to enter the silence in our hearts and ask how we can best align ourselves to this new vibration. The way of the future is calling!

Living Authentically

How to live authentically is an issue of our times. So many more people are searching for a way to live from their hearts and follow their soul's calling without getting lost on the treadmill of day to day survival. And so many more people have stepped onto the path of awakening and yet their lives are not really reflecting this. So what does it mean to live authentically and how do we do it?

Living authentically means to be in integrity with ourselves. There needs to be a congruency between our innermost thoughts, beliefs and feelings and our outer words and actions. We need to grow beyond the unconscious roles we have created for ourselves e.g. "housewife/ mother/ bread-winner / martyr / power-broker" etc and get to know who we really are. The roles we take on have been formed out of our conditioning and by the ego's identification with them and so we act in ways that reflect our roles. But most often, our innermost values are not in alignment with the ways we operate in relationship to others, our work or the world. And so there is an inner conflict, a war, that perpetuates suffering.

In order to have truly fulfilled relationships and in order to have a truly fulfilled life we need to bring our authenticity to every situation. This means we relate to each other and to the world not from our role-playing and ego-identifications but from our hearts and our essential selves. So the first step is to KNOW YOURSELF .. in other words, identify the roles you play and recognize that this is just your conditioning, your story - but it is not the truth of who you are. Recognize that your essential self is not colored by these stories but is simply the open space of Being-ness. When you can rest in Being, your heart is open and you can relate to the world with clarity and love.

Here are some keys to living authentically:

1) Take responsibility for your feelings - don't resort to blame, shame, judgment or justification .. simply know what you feel and OWN it!

2) Be transparent - be honest with yourself about how you feel and don't hide your feelings behind a mask. There is no need to "dump" your feelings on someone else .. but you can simply be tenderly hold these feelings within yourself and allow yourself to be seen.

3) Walk your Talk - when you say (to yourself or to someone else) that you will do something, then DO it! Follow through on your commitments .. this will inform Life that you are serious about what you say and then Life will also show up for you .. you always get as much as you give.

4) Be present - bring your presence to every situation, don't jump into your head and your story-lines .. simply be here now in stillness and you will find that you respond to life instead of reacting. Now you can truly relate to another and to life!

5) Be open - relax into every experience you have and you will find that more intimacy, more joy and more possibilities arrive at your doorstep. Again, this is vital for creating authentic relationships.

6) Go beyond the need to be loved to 'being love" - when you need someone to love you, you act inauthentically and when you need the world to love you, you create an inauthentic life. Know yourself as the essential love-nature that you truly are, know yourself as whole and complete ... and you will simply BE love. Now you can truly relate!

Living authentically is a journey that unfolds as we awaken more and more to the truth of who we are. Having the desire to live authentically and bringing awareness to your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, values, words and actions is an on-going discovery ... and one that bears fruit the more we harness the power of our awareness.

Living a Radiant Life

Recently someone came running up to me in one of my workshops and asked for the secret to my radiance … what made me look so glowing, so youthful, so healthy and happy? Well, I must say I was quite flattered as I am nearing my 50’s now and that day I had been working long hours of travel and teaching!

So I paused for a moment to reflect on “my secret”. This was my answer: “True radiance comes from the inside out. True health is an abundance of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. What you see is a dedication to the embodiment of these qualities so that I can live a life of radiant joy and passion in order to better offer my services to the world.” Or words to that effect!

Radiant Wellness

I discovered many years ago that unless I honoured my body as the vehicle of my divine purpose then I would not be able to fulfil my full potential. I learnt that a body that is vibrating at a high frequency of inner purity has endless resources of energy and vitality. I learnt that a body that is conscious of what goes into it is nourished on more than just a physical level.

Food is energy and energy is consciousness, so what we eat has an effect not only on the health of our bodies but also on the health of our minds and on the health of our emotions.

Everything that we eat carries a vibration and that vibration affects every cell of our being. Food that is grown, packaged and brought to us in a mass-marketed way without care and consideration, will impact us negatively by creating toxicity and low vitality. But food that has been grown, packaged and brought to us with love, will impact us positively by nourishing us on all levels. Because, ultimately it is love that feeds the eternal part of us that is beyond mortal flesh. And it is love that allows the radiant glow of well-being to permeate everything we do and everything we are.

When we radiate wellness from the inside out, our thoughts are inspired, our emotions are clear, our hearts are open, and we more easily make conscious choices as to what we eat, what we do, who we hang out with, who we do business with, and what we offer to the world. When we radiate wellness from the inside out, our inner light shines bright for all to see … and this inspires others to also step onto the path of true wellness.

Radiant Love

Living a radiant life means we are in “right relationship” to ourselves and to others. And this means we are not trying to get love from outside of ourselves, but instead we are nourished by diving deep into our own true love-nature. It’s a shift from the immaturity of co-dependency to the maturity of inter-dependency. In other words, instead of trying to get from another what we think we need in order to feel complete, we offer our wholeness to the relationship without the need for emotional self-gratification.

And in offering our wholeness, we allow the alchemy of true love to take place. Now the relationship becomes a vehicle for emotional and spiritual growth that serves not only to create a more loving, harmonious relationship but also radiates out to create a world of peace and harmony.

Wholeness means we have recognized our own inner divinity … and this means we see the divinity in all people, whether they be our intimate partner or our brothers and sisters of a different culture. And in seeing that we are all one, we cannot fail to illuminate all interactions with the radiance of our true nature.

Radiant Wealth

When we know the truth of our infinite potential – because we have tapped into the vast resource of energy and well-being that is available to us – then we inevitably shine the light of our magnificence on all that we say and do. We are lit from the inside by the fire of passion that burns through all inner and outer obstacles on the way to fulfilling our divine mission. By daring to be all that we truly are, we move from smallness to greatness.

It is our greatness that enriches our lives and the lives of others. It is in having the courage to offer our unique gifts to the world that we create a life of true worthiness. All the riches we deserve lie in the wealth of creative energy at our disposal – should we choose to tap into it – when we are vibrating at a high level of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.

When we shift from being pre-occupied by just making a living to doing what we really love, then we shift from survival to true fulfilment. The flame of our radiance burns most brightly when we are of service to the world. True wealth is that which cannot be grasped at by greed, but that which emanates from the core of our being for the upliftment of all.

So, shine … shine like a star for all to see! For you are more glorious than you have ever dared to imagine … and as radiant as the brightest star in the sky!

Radical Awakening

There’s a new frequency coming through humanity today and it’s turning our lives upside down. So many of us are experiencing increasing challenges as our world is rocked by unexpected inner and outer events. So many of us are being impacted by an increasing intensity in our daily lives and in our emotions. And so many of us are feeling a sense of anticipation as if something new is about to happen but we don't what that is.

Whether we experience these changes and challenges as fear or as excitement is a choice we each have to make. Because the new frequency is about making new choices in our lives. We are in the midst of a new evolutionary impulse that is creating the possibility for a fundamental shift in how we see things, in our beliefs, our thoughts, our feelings, our words and our actions. It's a new paradigm of living and being and we are being birthed into it. And, like all births, it is both painful and exciting. It is out of the chaos that something new is born. It is at the darkest hour that we stand at the edge of a rebirth into the light of a fresh dawn.

This new paradigm is the call to Radical Awakening. It’s the call to get conscious in every aspect of our lives. Radical Awakening is a fundamental shift in the relationship to Life … and ultimately to ourselves. Do we operate from the myopic viewpoint of a contracted ego or do we operate from the clarity afforded us when we stand in the 360-degree perspective of an unbounded heart? Do we operate from our smallness or from our greatness? Do we operate from a victim-consciousness or do we operate as conscious co-creators? This is the choice that we are being offered … and the choice that we make will alter our future for better or for worse.

More and more of us are becoming aware that this choice is available to us. The trick is that we need to make this choice in every moment and in every circumstance. Radical Awakening is the frequency of the Divine Feminine … and the Divine Feminine leaves no stone unturned in her mission to heal the wound of separation that is the cause of all suffering. Her love is a fierce one, a tenacious one, and a courageous one. Her love is that of a mother who will do anything to protect her children and get the job done. And the job in this case is to shift us from separation to oneness. Wherever we separate ourselves from Source is where we separate ourselves from Life and from ourselves. And whenever we live in a state of separation we experience anxiety, scarcity, fear, competitiveness, stress and isolation.

Radical Awakening is the call to recognize and embody the truth of who we really are. Because only when we have truly tasted the sweet nectar of our essential divinity - our wholeness and our holiness – can we truly operate from a unity paradigm. When we stop looking at the world through the eyes in our head and start looking through the eyes of our heart, we come to see that everything that exists is spun together with the same thread of magic and we come to know that every single person and every single thing is a manifestation of the One Source. Tapping into the vast ocean of our Being-nature - that part of us that is unchanging and eternal - means that we are at one with life as it unfolds within our own experience. And this means that we are no longer victims of circumstances!

The shift from our heads to our hearts grants us the power to make a choice in how we respond to life. Instead of reacting from our habitual patterns, we can now choose to respond with more life-affirming thoughts, feelings, words and actions. Instead of operating from a reality clouded by past-fear of future-hope, we can operate within the crystal-clear lens of the present moment. It’s when we step fully into the present that the inner light of our true radiance can shine. Our true radiance is our willingness to be total, to fully show up and offer ourselves wholeheartedly to life as it moves through us, to allow the fire of passion to burn through all self-limitations so that we offer our unique gifts to the world in service to the greater whole. This is a shift from a me-centred perspective of “what can I get from life?” to a we-centred perspective of “what can I give to life?” It’s a radical turn-around of all our self-protective ways to a new unlimited way of being that ultimately leads to more happiness, more joy, more love and more freedom for ourselves and for all those around us.

This radical awakening is a new spirituality that has little to do with running away to the mountain-top to meditate in seclusion for a few more lifetimes. Nor has it much to do with holding hands and praying for peace to come one day in the future. The new frequency is about bringing spirituality into a deep intimacy with practicality. The Divine Feminine is an earthy vibration that seeks to heal the wound of separation that has plagued our relationships to all things tangible: our relationship to our bodies and health, our relationship to other people, and our relationship to our work and our money. All of these are realms not normally embraced by the traditional spiritual path.

Today the call is to get conscious within the nitty-gritty of our daily lives. The new frequency is impacting our health, our intimate relationships, our work and our money. So many of us are experiencing a breakdown of one or more of these areas of our lives, so many of us are experiencing unexpected illness, loss of loved ones, disillusionment with work and financial instability. So many of us are yearning to find our true purpose in the world. And all of this is as it should be … the light of the Divine Feminine is revealing to us those aspects of our lives in which are still operating from a separation-perspective. The call is to choose love not fear, greatness not smallness, and to know ourselves as conscious co-creators of our reality.

The choice is ours to make … and the power to make that choice is available to us now!

A New Frequency

There’s a new frequency emerging within humanity today .. it’s the frequency of oneness and it’s calling us to radically awaken to the truth of who we really are.

If your life is being rocked by challenges that seem too big to handle or by increasing chaos and confusion .. rest assured that this is all part of the grand cosmic plan! You are being called to grow beyond your self-limitations and to take a good look at what has been holding you back from shining your true radiance on the world? Are you still playing the victim? Are there areas in your life that you prefer to play small? Are you still playing out those old tape loops handed down by your parents? Are you a passive observer of the drama of your life?

The new frequency is revealing every area of our lives – personal and collective – that is still operating within the old paradigm of fear and separation. This is our opportunity to see what has been hidden behind the scenes and finally bring it to the light of awareness …. and choose a new way of being. We are each powerful beyond measure and we have the power to choose how we think, how we feel, what we say and what we do! The power of choice is right here in this very moment. We CAN choose to be conscious co-creators of our lives instead of victims of circumstances. We don’t have to play “poor me” any more because playing small does not serve us nor does it serve the world!

The new frequency is the Divine Mother vibration … and her energy is that of “fierce love”, in other words a love that will do what it takes to shift us into a new way of being, to shift us from the immaturity of co-dependency to the maturity of inter-dependency. In the former, we act like children and give our power away to an external authority, whether that be another person, the world, life or God. In the latter, we realize that we are the only authors of our reality and we take full responsibility for how respond to life.

The new paradigm being born amidst the chaos of today is one of wholeness, oneness, love and harmony. It requires the release of old habitual patterns and a willingness to step into something much greater than we have ever known. It requires each of us to have the courage to step out of our comfort zones and become our true radiant selves! Radiance is what the world is calling forth from us, radiance is what inspires us to great actions, radiance is what ignites our passion! A radiant world is one in which we each contribute our unique gifts to serve the greater whole. A radiant world is one in which we each shine and illuminate the glory of existence with the brightness of our love.

I don’t know about you .. but I’m excited by this new frequency! Let us step forwards into a new world of endless possibilities and let us always remember the truth of who we really are …

The Marriage of Money and Spirituality

I used to think that money and spirituality were opposites. I used to think that being poor was worthy because it didn't deprive anyone else of what they might need. I used to think that making money was for the greedy people in the world. And I used to think that if I was really good then God would reward me by dropping riches into my lap without me having to go through the process of thinking about how to make money. In other words, having money was OK but handling money was not!

I was wrong about all these beliefs! It's taken me a long time to realize that money is not evil ... it is how we use it that makes all the difference. Money in the hands of selfishness gets tainted, but money in the hands of service becomes elevated. Money used consciously is of great service to the individual and to the world. There is no shame in using money to create better living conditions, to provide services and goods to others, to help those in need and to empower oneself to move beyond the slavery of 9 to 5 jobs. The more money you have, the more good you can do. The more money you have, the more people you can help. The crucial factor is your level of consciousness. If fear is your driving force, then you will hoard money and it will stagnate. If love is your driving force, then you will find ways to redistribute your wealth in ways that serve those around you.

Money is simply an energy; it is neither good nor bad. But the way that we use it is good or bad. Money is a symbol of fair exchange, a transaction between 2 people that provides something of value to each of them. And money needs to be circulated. The more circulation, the more impact it has on other people's lives.

Money in the right hands has the power to heal the rift between rich and poor. Money in the right hands can educate, empower, feed and water millions. We do have all the money we need to create healthy living conditions for every single person in the world .. it's just out of balance right now!

I understand now that the time has come for the marriage of Spirituality and Practicality. I understand now that learning to use money in service to humanity will heal a major collective wound that has kept us for so long in poverty and scarcity consciousness.

Imagine a world in which each of us truly felt rich, each of us truly felt abundant and each of us felt unafraid of sharing our wealth ... I imagine it would be a very different world to the one we currently live in!

My Journey to Inner Success

In 1989, I made one of the most difficult decisions in my life ... the decision to follow my soul's calling rather than the voice of my ego that had been guiding my life up until then! After 12 years of academic pursuit at university, my soul was calling me to take a new direction and give up all I had thought would bring me happiness. I had believed since childhood that academic achievement would bring make me happy and make me feel loved by the world. My sense of self-worth was totally tied up in achievement!

As my life crumbled around me, I could no longer uphold the lie I had been sold by my ego and I was forced to delve deeper into the truth of my self. The problem was, I had no idea who I was nor what I truly wanted. All I knew was that I could no longer seek love and self-worth from my external success.

So I made the courageous decision to STOP all striving for success and to allow Life to reveal my deeper truth. I gave up my academic pursuits, my home, my relationship, my work as a Lifestyle Instructor ... and stepped into the unknown. In the darkness of having nothing and knowing nothing, a small flicker of knowing-ness grew to reveal a new vision of the future. Still unformed, the vision stayed with me for many years as a seed of possibility. It took many years to gestate as I went on my journey of self-discovery and self-healing, but throughout all of that time I never lost sight of the light within me. Even though I experienced homelessness, poverty, heartbreak, emotional abuse, physical violence, self-worth issues, painful childhood memories, doubt and fear ... I never once stopped believing in my dream that my life would unfold in glory to reveal my true inner riches so that I could share them with the world. I never let my inner light go out!

It's a long story, but in the end, I have been rewarded with what I call true success ... INNER SUCCESS! By this I mean the success of having become sovereign of my own inner kingdom. I am no longer subject to the vicissitudes of my small mind thinking, and even though fearful thoughts may pass through my mind, they are no more than passing clouds on an empty sky. I do not identify with these self-limiting thoughts ... they are not my true nature and so nothing can taint the truth of who I AM. Inner success is about being anchored in my essential being-ness, even though the sky may look stormy.

The liberation that this brings is enormous! There is no greater gift than this! And from this place, I am free to follow my dream and offer my gifts to the world without the need for approval. The sense of stability and certainty that comes from this place is reward indeed! And there are still challenges to come .. for as we grow, so we are able to climb greater heights and we are challenged to grow even more than we had imagined. To me, this is exciting! Life is full of new possibilities and, however challenging it may appear to be, I have learnt that nothing can rock my true eternal nature.

May you too have the courage to shine your light on all that you do ... may your inner light always guide you to grow and BE ALL THAT YOU ARE!

Offering Your Gifts to the World

It takes courage to offer your gifts to the world. It takes stepping out beyond your comfort zone. It means taking a risk because success is never guaranteed .. at least in the form you think it ought to come in! Fear of failure is so often what prevents us from offering our true gifts to the world. How much easier it is to hide behind our smallness than to stand in the glaring spotlight of the world? How much easier it is to keep doing the same old familiar work and complain about being bored/trapped/uninspired/stressed/etc than to dig deep and share our authentic self without expectation of reward or praise?

And yet, when we do decide to authentically share what inspires us, what moves us, what empassions us, then something in our soul stirs and starts to smile. Inspiration is a higher form of motivation. When you're inspired, you're an inspiration to others. You can't help it .. it's contagious! Inspiration has the power to move a mountain, it has the power to touch people's hearts, it has the power to inspire someone else to be inspired.

All great acts arise from inspiration. And yet it does not matter whether what you offer the world is big or small. It does not matter whether you're a mother, an artist, a visionary or a corporate manager. What matters is whether you're offering your authenticity. It does not matter whether you touch millions or just one person. What matters is the depth of your inspiration.

Each of us has something unique to offer the world, something special that has the ability to touch someone. There is no "better" or "worse", no "higher" or "lower" : every job, every talent and every skill has its place in the world if you are offering it from the place of inspiration, authenticity, passion and joy.

And the thing is ... whatever is YOUR unique gift, when you take the plunge and declare your vision and mission to the world, then all the angels will gather round you to support you. Not always in the way you think they should! But support is there, in hidden and not hidden ways. The rewards of following your bliss and having the courage to offer your unique gifts to the world are rained upon you when you least expect it, when you've stopped demanding what you think is rightfully yours and you are simply doing what you do with arms wide open to welcome everything. Unwavering certainty in your vision and mission - and GRATITUDE - are the keys to reaping the rewards when you step out of your comfort zone to offer your gifts to the world.

Which would you rather have ... a life of unfullfilment or a life of soul nourishment? Which would you rather have ... a life of repetitive comfort or a life of exciting possibilities?

I know which one I'd rather have! I choose to be the author of my life, I choose to share my passion with the world, I choose to be inspired in all that I do. I choose to be grateful for the opportunities that come my way that allow me to offer my gifts to the world. And I choose to open my arms and welcome all the ups and downs that each hold a hidden gift when I have the wisdom to look inside the heart of every situation.

Remember ... you were born on this Earth to fulfill a divine purpose. Don't miss this opportunity to be all that you can be and to share this with the world. Don't give in to your comfort zone. Be a warrior of the heart and choose your greatness not your smallness! The world needs you to be great. Offer your magnificence and you will be magnificent! Shine your light on the world and the world will shine a light to guide your path through this earthly incarnation.

The Power Within

The most magnificent power of all is the power WITHIN you. When you stop looking outside of yourself for that which you think you need in order to feel powerful, and instead you look within to discover your TRUE POWER, then you will be truly powerful!

True power does not reside in that which can be perceived by the 5 senses, it cannot be attained by trying to gain power over the material world, it cannot be grasped at because it does not inhabit the fleeting nature of the world of phenomena. True power cannot be found through status, money, romantic love or knowledge, because all these things are subject to the ebb and flow of life, they all come and go.

True power resides in that which is not fleeting or transient, but in that which is ever-lasting and unchanging. In other words, that within which everything else comes and goes. And this is the unchanging state of your consciousness, your witness-self, your Sky-nature through which the clouds pass. It is your I AM-ness ... not I am this or I am that, not I am rich or I am poor, not I am a Muslim or I am a Christian, but simply I AM! Your I AM-ness is your Being-nature, your essential and eternal spiritual nature. It is the ONLY TRUE POWER you have, because no-one and no-thing can take this away from you! It is the jewel of your true self, that which cannot be touched, tainted or tarnished by external events, fleeting emotions or turbulent thoughts. It is your unconditional and unlimited Being-ness.

When you recognize and awaken to this power, you align your inner power to the power of the Universe and you come to know yourself as a conscious co-creator of your life. When you choose to stop being a victim of circumstance and instead choose to get anchored in the truth of your infinite nature, you become powerful because you are the author of your reality. You cannot be a victim of life .. unless you choose to be! You have the power to choose how you think and feel, and you have the power to choose what you say and do ... you are creating your reality ALL THE TIME, for better or for worse!

Now is the time to awaken and choose to co-create your world AS YOU WISH IT TO BE! Choose love not fear, choose to be an "enlightened warrior" not a passive observer of the drama of your life, choose to take action not be a victim, choose new life-affirming beliefs not the comfort-zone of your self-limitations!

We live in times of change .. and it is up to each one of us to choose be an active agent of change in our own lives and in the world around us. Outer change comes from inner transformation because the outer always reflects the inner. Real lasting change in the world comes from each of us having the courage to make the inner changes that will empower us to live and express our true brilliance. One person at a time is how we change the world. It is our responsibility to live and express our true brilliance so that we can shine a light for others to also be empowered to live and express their true brilliance. Now is the time!

May each of us be truly brilliant ... may each of us live our highest potential and shine like the star that we are for all to see!

Peace Begins Within

In a world of increasing chaos, confusion, war and violence, the most important question we can ask ourselves is:

"Am I at peace with myself?"

There's no point wagging our fingers at those who appear to be the perpetrators of war, terror, crime and violence ... because real change never comes from trying to fix what's wrong on the outside. There's no point blaming those "in power" for our collective suffering ... because real change cannot happen when we are caught up in blame, judgment, hatred or feeling victimized.

Real change can only happen when we take full responsibility for how we respond to what's happening. It is up to us - as individuals - to choose a new way of responding to circumstances, to move away from the old fear-based paradigm of separation to a new love-based paradigm of oneness. Responding to the world in the same old way only creates more of the same. And unless we fundamentally change ourselves, the world cannot change ... because no amount of fighting to save the world will ultimately create a harmonious humanity if we are still divided within. How can we embrace the world if we cannot embrace ourselves?

Taking full responsibility for an inner transformation in the way we see things is the only chance we have of creating a real change in our external world and how we experience things. We live in a holographic universe, in which the microcosm always reflects the macrocosm. What we perceive outside of ourselves is a reflection of what's going on inside ourselves. WE are the ones responsible for creating the world we want to live in ... because PEACE BEGINS WITHIN.

Until we can embrace our own shadow, until we can acknowledge the darkness within ourselves, until we can love ourselves totally - warts and all - we will always project outwards what we are hiding in ourselves. Self-love is the answer to world peace. By loving ourselves, we forgive our darkness, we forgive all those parts of ourselves that we pushed down because they were deemed unacceptable by our parents, our schooling, our peers, our society. And whatever we repress - whether it be anger, sadness, jealousy, despair, or any other "unsavory" emotion - will end up lurking in the shadows of our subconscious, waiting to pounce unexpectedly. Because we cannot go on repressing an energy ... eventually it will want to burst out and see the clear light of day, The only problem is, by the time this energy gathers enough momentum to make itself seen, it has become distorted from living in the darkness for so long and ends up becoming a monster. Anger becomes murderous rage and violence, sadness becomes stuckness and disempowerment, jealousy becomes envy and manipulation, despair becomes depression and suicidal tendencies, etc. Put all this into the collective soup and you have the recipe for a world exactly as we see it today!

Loving ourselves, being kind and compassionate to those parts of ourselves that have been treated with unkindness in the past, means we start to heal and make whole. Accepting ourselves exactly as we are means we accept others exactly as they are. And this is the seed of peace in the world. A peaceful world can only arise when we are each at peace with ourselves. And when we start making peace with ourselves, we also start to make peace with all aspects of our lives.

Are we at peace with our friends and our family - or do we hold them responsible for our own pain? Are we at peace with our bodies - or do we treat our bodies as if they are just inert lumps of matter, to be used and abused? Are we at peace with our thoughts - or do we try to push them away or beat up on ourselves when we have negative thoughts? Are we at peace with our feelings - or do we try to deny those feelings that make us uncomfortable? Are we at peace with our work - or do we hate what we do and dream of retirement? Are we at peace with money - or do we see it as the root of all evil? Are we at peace with the world - or do we blame or hate the government, the scientists, the economists, etc for our current state of affairs? Are we at peace with our planet - or do we take what we can from her so that we can feather own nest regardless of the cost? Are we at peace with God - or do we fear Him lest we do wrong and do we hold Him responsible for all that we see as evil in the world?

Without asking ourselves these questions, the seeds of peace will not be sown. We need to be ruthlessly honest with ourselves and be resolute in living a peaceful life ... one step at a time. Living a life of peace means living a life of love. Every step we take in loving ourselves and loving our lives, brings us closer to our true undivided nature, our essential wholeness and holiness. Every step we take to embrace and embody our inner wholeness, brings us closer to our divinity. When we live in the recognition of our divinity, all our actions will be expressions of divinity. And divinity always wants the highest good for all. New possibilities, new outcomes, new solutions will arise when we express and create through our divinity. And the possibility of a new world begins to take shape when divinity is the foundation of our life here on Earth.

One step at a time ... in every moment ask yourself "Am I at peace with myself?" And if the answer is no, don't act hastily ... but wait and go inside to find out what it is within yourself that you are not loving. And when you have found this, take it tenderly into your heart and hold it there, just allowing it to BE, allowing it to breathe, allowing it to exist in the light of awareness. And wait .. until what was deemed to be dark or bad or wrong is now dissolved into the love that is your true nature. Only act from a place of love. Only act when you are at peace with yourself.

May you live in peace, may you be at peace with yourself.

May all beings live in peace, may all beings be at peace with themselves.

Opening to Suffering

I talk a lot about making the shift from a horizontal perspective to a vertical perspective, in other words the shift from seeing through the eyes of the ego to seeing through the eyes of the heart. In the horizontal world, we are always seeking to get something for me and mine and so we are self-protective, defensive, even attacking sometimes. In the vertical world, we see beyond the self-serving needs of ego and have an expanded viewpoint in which we see the broader picture that serves humanity and Life as a whole. In the horizontal, we are ruled by the tightness of fear; in the vertical, we have chosen the spaciousness of love. The former leads to suffering; the latter leads to liberation and joy.

The most common misunderstanding of these 2 dimensions or perspectives is that the vertical is a kind of fluffy "feel-good" place where nothing painful happens. The most common question is "how do I get to this place of spaciousness and how do I maintain it in a world of pain, difficulty and bad things happening?"

The answer to this question lies in the understanding that it is not an either/or situation. It is not a case of "if I choose the spaciousness of love then I will have no experience of pain and I will be immune to my own and the world's suffering". This either/or perspective is born of duality and is simply the same old paradigm we are currently living in. The vertical perspective embraces both this and that ... and this gives rise to a third possibility that is neither this nor that but something beyond both! It is the great paradox of Existence that allows duality to be contained within unity. This is the new paradigm .. the new consciousness emerging today as we awaken.

So what does this mean in real life? It means that your ego still operates but within the greater context of your heart. It means you are able to embrace both the shadow and the light. It means you feel your own suffering and the suffering of the world and you can hold these in the compassion of your heart .. without becoming a victim. There is no "poor me" in the vertical. There is only the milk of human kindness. There is only the tenderness of having opened wide to accept both the beauty and the horror of life. It means you feel everything - even your own despair, hurt and regret - and you choose to know that you are not identified by these feelings. These feelings are like clouds - sometimes dark and stormy clouds - that pass through the sky of your consciousness.

There are no real words to describe the liberation that comes from this expanded perspective ... it is a state of being that you recognize only when you have crossed the bridge from horizontal to vertical. There is no way to describe how it can possibly be that the vertical encompasses the horizontal. There is only a joy and a trust in the goodness of life once you have entered this new way of being. To the outside world, it seems as if nothing has changed in you .. but YOU know that everything is now different, sparkling with an effervescence that can never be taken away.

The journey to the vertical dimension can only be pointed to by those who have arrived there. It is so accessible to each and every one of us and yet when the prison walls are up we cannot understand how we can get there. There is no way to get there other than to follow your inner calling and to immerse yourself in the desire to awaken and be free. Life itself will lead you teachings, tools, processes, techniques and wisdom teachers who can give you a glimpse of this new world. But in the end, it is YOU who does it, it is YOU who once and for all decides to break out of your self-imposed prison.

The bottom line is that you either CHOOSE to be a victim of your own thoughts, feelings and beliefs or you CHOOSE to see beyond your conditioning and know yourself as the truth of your essential nature or I AM-ness. You either choose to be a victim of life or you choose to take full responsibility for your reality and take a good look at the unconscious beliefs that sabotage your freedom, joy and empowerment. As Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith says: "I AM an infinite being and I will NOT be subject to the lies created by small self! I AM an infinite being and I will NOT be subject to the the vicissitudes of small-box thinking!"

Make the choice in every moment to be greater than your pain, to be greater than your suffering .. not to deny or avoid, but to open softly even to that which hurts, to embrace both Heaven and Hell and in so doing to transcend both into a new place of Forgiveness and Love. This is the Warrior's Path to Liberation. It's a choice to be made over and over again, like exercising a muscle. Ultimately, there is no magical answer that resolves everything ... there is only the putting into practice of your resolve to stay open amidst the pain until you understand that liberation is the ability to hold your own and humanity's suffering. It's an ever-deepening journey without a destination. The reward is wisdom, compassion and freedom.

Know that you ARE love and be courageous enough to embrace everything that is in existence. You cannot be harmed or destroyed .. all that can happen is that you open wider than you can imagine and become greater than who you think you are.

A little note from the USA

I've just come back from the USA on a whirlwind visit to meet with all the amazing people with whom I have been collaborating for some of my projects and who have been supporting me in getting my message out to the world. I was touched deeply by everyone's hospitality, enthusiasm and generosity of spirit!

I was also blown away by the energy and passion of conscious people working towards the creation of a new future and the amount of networking, support and interactive-ness that goes on between everyone. It seems to me that, as well as all the mass unconscious beliefs that are driving people's lives, there is an incredibly strong, focused, clear and SUPER- CONSCIOUS driving force in the USA that is spear-heading a revolution in the way we live our lives. I was honored to make contact with some of these teachers, authors, speakers, entrepreneurs and humanitarians.

Indeed, I was challenged to stretch my imagination of the possibilities for expansion in what I have to offer and I learnt many new tools which I will be incorporating into my creative projects. I am really excited by what the future holds - both personally and collectively - as we are all pushed to offer our gifts and services for the benefit of humanity's awakening, each in our own unique way.

Looks like I shall be going back to the USA quite soon to build on what happened this time ... I greatly look forward to it whilst remaining fully anchored in the glory of the present moment!

As the year unfolds, there will be more news about the riches that this trip has offered me to allow me to offer more gifts to YOU!

The Power of Conscious Relationship

Many months ago, I said I would write a little about my relationship with my beloved, Kavi Jezzie Hockaday. Finally, I feel it is the right time to do so.

Relationships are so often the source of such pain and yet they are also the source of great healing. They are the holders of such unconsciousness and yet they hold the key to living a conscious life. In fact, intimate relationship with another human being is a mirror of how we relate to every single aspect of our lives. Except that within intimate relationship, the highs and lows are multiplied in intensity!

I've come from a history of painful relationships in which I played the "victim" and felt incredibly disempowered. It took me many years of confusion, struggle and limitation to change the way I am within relationship. It's only after I had the courage to dive deep into my aloneness that I discovered the truth of my wholeness and was able to bring that wholeness into my relationship with Kavi. In fact, it was only after I had made my primary relationship to God that Kavi appeared in my life and I was able to truly surrender into this new adventure. Ever since we met, we were clear that our primary relationship was to the Divine and we recognized that our relationship was a doorway to the realization of our own divinity. The Sacred Marriage was an internal one in which each moment and each interaction demanded the full depth of Presence and the full breadth of Openness.

Six years later, and our relationship still demands the full depth of Presence and the full breadth of Openness. Anything less than this and we descend into hell. So we stay awake and keep rising in love. The old games of co-dependency and playing the victim are gone. The old feeling that relationship was a trap that prevented me from being fully myself is gone. Through complete surrender into this relationship, I found my true self and I have never felt more free. Of course, I need my space at times, and of course we have to face each other with the truth of our feelings ... but all this happens within the greater freedom of true relating.

It is my direct experience that conscious relationship has the power to heal all wounds, that it has the power to accelerate personal evolution and that it has the power to radiate love and transformation out into the world. Because in conscious relationship, love is not selfish ... it cannot be, for its purpose is to spread outwards like a river of kindness that nourishes all that it touches. Love's purpose it to serve humanity by being greater than the 2 people who are "in relationship". In conscious relationship, there is a sacred marriage that gives birth not only to one's inner divinity but also gives birth to service. Love is not something to be held onto or contained, but something to be shared by serving the world.

When we each have the courage to discover our wholeness by diving into our aloneness, by recognizing that we are one with God at all times and therefore we are always whole and complete exactly as we are, we will attract into our lives a partner who matches us on this vibration. When we do not search for someone to make us whole but instead we make ourselves available to serve God, someone appears who can take our desire for service and make it tangible ... this is Love in Action in which our relationship serves a higher purpose.

When I met Kavi and we embarked on our relationship, I gave birth to a new vision that led me to write my book "How to Find God in Everything". I had no idea I was leaving behind my cherished role as a movement workshop facilitator and I had no idea of the new journey that was unfolding. It's a journey for which I am eternally grateful because it has given me the key to liberation.

As we move into a new vibration of global transformation, I feel that more and more conscious relationships will become manifest and give birth to even greater acts of service to humanity. There's a healing of the wounded masculine and the wounded feminine in us all that can only happen when 2 people meet each other in the truth of presence and in the openness of love. It's not that we can't do it on our own - of course we can since the meeting is within our own hearts - it's just that the power is magnified within intimate relationship.

So, I wish you a thousand blessings on your journey into love ... in whatever shape or form it takes. May you remember your oneness at all times!

My Plans for 2009

Dear Friends,

I thought it was time I wrote something a bit more personal about my plans for 2009. Some of you have emailed me to ask if I am giving any talks, etc. It's a good question and one that I ask myself a lot too! I did give a few talks here in the UK and in Europe last year and this year I am working on doing a lot more "out in the world". I must admit it's been a bit tough getting people interested in my work here in UK ... it seems that GOD is a dirty word and prone to much misunderstanding! I'm working on changing the mass unconscious belief around this!

However, I've had an enthusiastic response from the USA and this year I shall be going over there to spread my message and see what doors open up for me ... I'm really excited by this as it has been my dream to go to America since I was 18 and somehow I never made it. My sense is that there is a pioneering spirit there that runs like a strong current through all fields of life and gives rise to the leading edge of spirituality and consciousness research that we see these days.

As well as making myself available for live talks, this year I'm also working on a number of projects to expand on what I can offer in terms of inspiration, wisdom and love to help humanity through the transition into the new paradigm we are entering into. These projects include online tutorials and teleseminars ... and hopefully a new book I'm putting together! Oh, and look out for my new 15-minute mini-movie called "The Secret that Unlocks Your True Spiritual Power" ... I'll send details as soon as it is ready for release.

2009 feels like a BIG year for all of us ... things are really speeding up and there's more breakdown of old structures as well as a proliferation of new ideas and tools for inner change. As science and spirituality come together, there's a deeper understanding of who we are as individuals and as a species. I find myself surfing a wave of transformation that is mind-boggling in its intensity and potential.

My affirmation for this year is ...

I aim to be an expression of the jewel that is my true nature and I aim to be of service to the world and to God! I surrender to that which is asked of me in small and big ways and I trust that I will be carried safely to the shore I cannot yet see.

May you also always be All That You Are in every way.

Love in Action

Love in Action means a love that is practical. It's not only a rainbow-colored Universal Love that prays for peace but a love that is able to "get its hands dirty" in the human realm. It's a love that cherishes the physical vehicle of our soul because a healthy body is more able to carry out God's work. It's a love that is unafraid of handling money because global wealth so badly needs redistribution. And its a love that thinks ahead and starts creating now what future generations will need.

Love in Action is an expression of the Divine Mother Ray which is the new vibration of consciousness coming through today. The Divine Mother is an earthy one and will do whatever it takes to take care of all her children. She is rooted in the material realm and knows that real change happens when we put our spirituality into action. The Divine Mother is here to heal the wounds of humanity that have created separation and caused us to forget our oneness with all Life. We see this coming through in many ways, in particular in the ever-increasing environmental movement that addresses our rape of the planet. And we see it in the rising attention to economic and monetary issues.

One of the most important things we can do as a collective is to heal the Money Vibration; in other words, to change the way we think about and use money. Our unconscious beliefs around money have created a fear-based scarcity model of economics that has resulted in a huge divide between the rich and poor. Greed, self-protectiveness, corruption and the "profit at all costs" motto have become embedded in our money transactions .. no wonder we think of money as "dirty"! It's time to bring to light our negative thinking and cleanse the way we use money. Because money in service to Love becomes an incredibly powerful tool for changing the world! Can you imagine if each of us had access to all the wealth we needed? Can you imagine if each of us understood that abundance is our true nature and that scarcity is a lie created by ego to keep us small and disempowered? Can you imagine that instead of "profit at all costs" we aligned ourselves to "for the benefit for all mankind"? Can you imagine if all our businesses, corporations, media and entertainment industries served Love instead of ego?

I can imagine it, because I see these changes slowly emerging amidst the chaos and breakdown of conventional economic structures. I see a move towards the merging of spirituality and business, towards philanthropy and economics, towards unity-consciousness and creativity. It's still a small movement, but I sense the seeds of real change are being sown today for tomorrow's generation.

Love in Action ... it's a sign of the times!

I love this music video by the Luminaries - a collective of musicians come together to spread a message of Peace. What I like about it is that they've used the modern medium of rap and hip-hop beats to create a truly uplifting, unifying song that expresses the new consciousness. Now, I'm not particularly a fan of this kind of music, but I'm impressed by how they've used an often aggressive and ego-oriented style totally in service to Love!

Everyone and Everything is a Manifestation of God - including the "baddies"! !

I've been thinking about the state of our world ... and in particular the division we see played out on the political stage. How easy it is for us to project our hatred onto the "baddies", to feel justified in our aggressive defensiveness, to feel "right" in our moral high-ground. So much of our attention is directed towards those we feel "hard done by". So much of our energy is taken up with negative thoughts and feelings. So much of our focus is on "what's wrong". And so the world divides into "good" and "bad", into victims and villains.

And yet it would be to our own benefit if we could see the world from a different perspective. If we could see through the eyes of unity instead of separation, the world would be a very different place. We might not condone the words and actions of those who do not have the highest good of all in mind, but we can choose to see that everyone is a manifestation of God - even though they might not appear to be! Even those we call "baddies" are - if we look beneath surface appearances - an expression of the Divine. On a personality level, we may see a person who is misguided, selfish, greedy and even "evil"; but on a soul level, could it be that this person through their apparently unloving actions has actually incarnated on this planet in order to be a catalyst for change? Could it be that, let's say, President Bush has in fact ignited a world-wide awareness of "what we really want to see in the world"? You could say that his soul has taken on some heavy karma in order to help humanity awaken to their own power by shocking them into taking action!

Who is to say whether this is true or not? But whether it is true or not, this more expanded perspective on the "baddies" of the world can help us heal the wound of separation in our own hearts. It turns the focus around from more hatred and division towards love and oneness. We can choose what we really want by seeing what we don't want, but we can also know that it is the world of opposites that gives us the power to make this choice!

In choosing to see everyone and everything as a manifestation of the One, we can make a positive contribution to creating the world that we truly want. I choose to practice this in my daily life ... and even when someone comes along who causes me hurt or difficulty, I choose to see that the deeper gift within this situation is always one of insight, healing and forgiveness.

Catastrophe or Rebirth?

In my recent newsletter I write about the increasing optimism I feel at this time of increasing chaos in our world. How can this be? How can I feel so good amidst news of economic collapse, political chaos and impending environmental disasters? Well, I don't feel good about these things happening ... but I do think that these signs of breakdown are actually the signs of a breakthrough. I do not see it in terms of "things going terribly wrong": what I see is a world ready to shake off its old ways and a new world waiting in the wings to be born. I see this as a necessary part of our evolutionary growth, both as individuals and as a species. I see that it is time for the lies and illusions that have kept us asleep for millennia to crumble so that we can see the truth of who we are and what we are creating.

Painful and disturbing as some of these changes are, it is our task to stay open amidst the transition to a new way of being. Many years ago I foresaw that the world would split in two, with one half falling into destruction and the other half reforming itself as the new paradise. I also saw that what defined which one of these two worlds we would experience was our own state of consciousness. Quantum physics tells us that everything is connected and that what we observe is dependent on the observer. It is how we perceive things that brings them into existence. If we choose to see with fear, we will create a world of darkness. But if we choose to see with an open heart, if we choose to stay open as love even amidst the horror, then we will bring light to dispel the shadows and the world will be illuminated by our love. It's as simple as that!

If each of us has the courage to do this even when our own lives appear to be threatened in so many ways, then the collective vibration of humanity will be uplifted so that a shift in global consciousness can take place. And when we move into a higher state of consciousness, who knows what the outcome will be in terms of how the world functions? Could it be that humanity finally learns to live with each other in harmony and peace? Could it be that all our interactions become transparent and we all work towards the good of the greater whole? Could it be that unconditional love becomes the most important thing?

These are no new-age pipe dreams but a very real possibility for us all .. if we choose to believe it. More and more quantum scientists, spiritual teachers and consciousness researchers are all coming to the same conclusion ... that the world is as we choose to create it. And there is increasing evidence that we are moving into a grand re-visioning time for the whole of humanity and the earth, a time during which we truly do have the potential to transform our reality. It is an amazing time to be alive ... and we have each chosen to be here at this time!

Let us not believe the fear-mongering of the politicians, the media and the unconscious thoughts of those who cannot see clearly. Yes, there are serious changes to the way things are ... but let us choose to celebrate these changes and to shine the light of our love in small and big ways wherever we are and wherever we go. Each of us can be an active agent of change! By choosing Love over Fear always and in all ways, we can play an active part in the rebirth of our beloved community of earth-dwellers. This is what we have come here for .. and we are truly the ones we have been waiting for!

You and I are here to remember who we truly are ... and to remind others. Let us do so with humility and grace, with certainty and courage ... we are here to remember our divinity and to celebrate our place in the grand scheme of Life!

May the fire in your heart burn as bright as mine does in these changing times ...

Conscious Evolution

In one of my previous blogs, I said I'd write about how my relationship with Kavi was central to the birth of my book and also how relationship itself is central to the collective vision of humanity's transformation. I haven't done this yet but I promise I'll do it in a future blog, when the time is right. But for now, other things have grabbed my attention and I wish to share these with you ...

I mentioned in my current newsletter the work of Barbara Marx Hubbard and I'd like to say a little more here as I feel her vision is like a beacon of light amidst a confusing world. Barbara is an amazing woman who has worked with total dedication over the past 40 years or so to develop a new paradigm of conscious evolution that spans the whole story of Existence from the Big Bang and into the future. What's so inspiring and exciting is that the pattern of evolution on all levels - from biological forms to social systems to the development of consciousness - suggests that we are about to give birth to the Universal Human. This is a new expression of humanity that embraces both the human and the divine, is connected to the whole through the heart and knows itself as a co-creator of Life. This is very similar to Osho's vision of the Dawn of the New Man or "Zorba the Buddha".

What's more, in Barbara's view, the chaos of our current world situation and the breakdown of certain systems is precisely the catalyst that is pushing us towards conscious evolution. Rather than an apocalyptic vision of darkness (although the very real threat of global destruction is a part of what we need to experience!), conscious evolution theory suggest that Creation creates itself through periodic phases of chaos in order for a higher level to emerge.

I couldn't agree more with this view! It's breakdown or breakthrough! The choice is ours! The evolution of the Universe mirrors the evolution of individuals: as we each experience in our personal lives the forces of change, we are asked to let go of old ways of thinking that no longer serve us or the whole, we are faced with our own darkness so that we can shine the light of awareness on it, and we are pushed to make new life-affirming choices that connect us with our divine essence as well as with the divinity of all that exists.

Now is the time for us to use all the tools we have to learn new ways of being. Barbara Marx Hubbard offers some of these tools with wisdom, intelligence, vision, passion and grace ... I cannot recommend her work highly enough! Check out http://www.barbaramarxhubbard.com and http://www.evolve.org

And I must mention again (as in my newsletter), the organization called Global Mind Shift whose aim is to help create a global shift in consciousness by creating new "memes" - defined as "a unit of cultural information that can be transferred from one individual to another and, like genes for the body, memes help cultures evolve." It's a very user-friendly space and one that I am delighted to be a part of!

Was this Book "Channelled" ?

I have often been asked if "How To Find God In Everything" is a "channelled" book. If "channelling" means the information is given by disembodied beings from a higher dimension whilst the writer is unaware of what is being written (also called "automatic writing"), then the answer must be "No"! I was fully conscious whilst planning and writing this book and I take full responsibility for the outcome.

But there are many ways to write a book. When a book is written - not merely because it is a "good idea" or because "there is a gap in the market" or because the subject matter will "grab the headlines" (and many books are written for these reasons!) nor because "being an author" will bring a sense of achievement - but because the book itself wants to be written, then this book transcends the writer and carries a collective power.

There is a place that you can tap into in the creative process that is beyond small mind or small self. There is a dimension beyond the everyday human intellect that contains all knowledge, all concepts and all information. You could call this Higher Mind, Universal Mind, or the Mind of God. It contains everything that is, everything that was and everything that ever will be. It is timeless and boundless.

By moving into an inner space of Stillness/Silence/Being, you can tap into this place and find the wisdom of Existence. Writing a book from this space requires surfing on the edge of surrender to the universal flow and conscious shaping of the words and sentences. It's a dance between Universal Truth and authentic humanness.

It is this kind of book that most often is a "sign of the times" and carries a universal message which speaks to everyone with an open heart and mind. And it is this kind of book that captures the imagination and spreads like wild-fire across boundaries of age, education and nation. Some examples of this kind of book (non-fiction) are "The Secret", "Conversations with God" and "The Power of Now".

The creative process applies to spiritual writing, story-telling, poetry, music, art and all forms of creative expression. In the end, it is not what we do but how we do it. If we open ourselves wide to receive God's fullness in this moment and if we bring the depth of our full presence into this moment, then every creative act is born from God's Mind and is filled with beauty, grace and the power to heal and make whole. Every creative act born from God's Mind holds a nugget of eternal truth and has the capacity to return us to a state of unity.

"May we each - in our own unique way - become a clear conduit for God's Creation ... and may all our creations serve to uplift humanity

and celebrate Life!"

How This Book Was Born

I wrote this book because it desperately want to be born into this world. Having led personal transformation workshops for a number of years and having published my first book in 2001 ("Moving into Ecstasy", Thorsons), I felt the urge to develop my work by writing a more expanded book about the path of spiritual awakening. The seed of an idea was planted ... but I did not know what I would eventually end up writing! Nor did I realize that I was being called to give up the teaching practice I had lovingly and painstakingly nurtured over the years

This new book demanded to be written from a place of Being and it called me to dive deep into stillness so that it could speak through me. This meant no more leading classes and workshops, no more running a business, and no more one-to-one sessions for my clients. It was a difficult decision but one that felt absolutely right: I had to stop all "doing" in the world and follow the quiet voice within. The situation was far from ideal though. I had no income and the only place I could write was in my one-bedroom basement flat in North London. I had imagined something more glorious than this! But with Kavi's support, I found a way to negotiate time and space an then it was down to my dedication to the writing process. The initial stages were slow as the overall structure took shape and I wrote and rewrote several chapters.

And then one day ... the true message of this book revealed itself to me! The power of the message was contained in a vision I had received several years previously and the subsequent transformation of my relationship to Life and God. What I had failed to see back then was that this vision was not only pivotal in my own personal journey, but that it also held the key to humanity's transformation from suffering to joy. In other words, it showed how we each can be empowered to create Heaven on Earth! Now, what a revelation! From this point on, the words came through loud and clear and everything fell into place (including a publishing deal!). It no longer mattered where I was writing ... I fell into such a vertical space of dimensionless proportions that I could have been sitting high in the Himalayas! As I wrote about how God calls us in every moment of Life - wherever we are and whatever we are doing - so I found God in the nitty-gritty of my inner city life. The message in this book came alive as I tasted the truth in the teaching and integrated it into my daily experience. From the conception of an idea was born something very new and exciting!

Just like a mother, I was faced with the choice of either shaping my baby into familiar but out-worn patterns or completely surrendering to the unique mission of the soul that had chosen me as its doorway into earthly life. In the realization that this book did not "belong" to me - in the same way as a child does not "belong" to its mother - I found myself in service to a collective vision that had the power to change the world! And I also found that I had tapped into the zeitgeist ... the urgency of the times that we live in, the potential for global annihilation or total transformation, the choice between love and fear that we are each called to make in every moment.

Writing this book has been the most challenging, exciting, demanding and fulfilling thing I have ever done! There are many things I have learnt from this journey that have helped me grow in many ways. I have learnt to absolutely trust the voice of intuition, to have total faith in Life to support me, to have the courage to follow my dream, to learn new skills and stretch beyond my comfort zone, and to love the creative birth process more than my need for self- protection. All this - and more - can be summarized in one of my favorite quotes:

"When I dare to be powerful enough to use my strength in service of vision, it becomes less and less important whether I'm afraid."

I hope you too are inspired by this wonderful quote ... and I hope you too have the courage to follow your dream and offer your gifts to the world!

I'm very excited that - after 3 years since its inception - my new book is finally available in bookshops!
